Have you been struggling with your training? Would you like to see better results in the gym? Do you feel like your weight loss results aren’t where they should be? Many people are facing these dilemmas but it all comes down to a positive mindset.
This is a major part of the reason why a good percentage of people give up before they start to see significant results, because they haven’t transformed their thought process into one that will support much if any significant outcome.
Today we will be looking at how to change your way of thinking and train with a positive mindset. In order to train your body with a positive mindset, you need to have a vision of where you want to be within a set period. This is achieved through setting goals.
Change your way of thinking
Have you ever found that it was difficult trying to accomplish a task, even if it was something that you had been working on for quite some time, but with all your efforts it just seemed like such a daunting task to finish what you have started? well the answer to that question just might simply lay within changing your way of thinking.
Whatever the task is in life that you are trying to achieve, it can be a pretty good possibility that your first or even second attempts you might fail at it, but if you fail at something at first or even a second time, never give up keep trying and one of these times you will surely Master it and you well feel the exhilaration of finding your results.
Anyone who is successful will tell you that it has taken them multiple attempts to get started on any endeavor, if at first you don’t succeed, try, try again, if at first you don’t win, try, try again.
If you take a drive, you will more than likely keep your eyes fixed forward toward the destination for which you are heading, granted you may shift your attention too something for a second or two, keeping the time minimal to prevent from anything disastrous from happening.
What is the objective of this drive? It should be to get from point A to point B and for the majority of the time you are keeping your attention focused forward.
It should be your objective in your fitness and health related goals, just the same as a road trip, do you agree? We were taught in drivers ED that that should be your first priority is to keep your eyes on what you are doing and pay attention to the road.
Taking a road trip it will naturally be important to pay attention to where you are going, if not one of a couple things could happen, you could end up in a disastrous wreck or you could get lost.
The same can hold true for your fitness goals. Whatever your mission is, to get jacked, to lose weight or simply to get healthier. You need to keep your attention focused forward to accomplish whatever it is that you set out to do.
If you don’t keep this focus, you will surely get of track and that could be disastrous to your physical fitness and health related goals. You will also find yourself lost needing the time and energy to get yourself back on track.
Mindset is a very important part of achieving your training goals, without the proper mindset it will be difficult sticking with the ingredients needed to fulfill the whole of your picture that you are building upon.
Your project is the canvas and you are the painter. You are designing a fulfillment to a better and more physically structured life, you get to choose the theme, the layout and the designing of a plan that will set you apart from the rest of the crowd.
You get to choose the mood of your structured art work, you get to choose the color theme, and bring as much life to the backdrop of your structured design as you can.
Make sure that you add plenty of bright colors to it to create for a vibrant and exciting experience for you the user and for those that may be involved or have some part in its plan.
I don’t know if you like art and painting or not, and this isn’t an art class, but the whole point behind what I am getting at is you are preparing yourself for the right mindset.
Now get busy and create a structured program for your health and add lots of fun, life and color to it.
Once you have set your mind upon progressing for better results in whatever your physical endeavor, that is half the battle.
You will learn a lot about yourself and find out what you are truly made of when it comes to continuing with your progress.
To keep progressing, you will have had to make the determination that what you have started, you will need to follow it through, and that means when the training and desire get hard to follow through with, it will be necessary to have tools such as a training journal.
A training journal helps to assure progress, without progress you are getting nothing accomplished, and tools for progress help to assure continued progress.
A training journal is necessary because it keeps track of where you are when you start out on your training program, and it will continue to keep record of your progress as you move along with your training,
under one condition,
and that is that you are dedicated every day to keeping up with recording your progress, a training journal is only as good as the person that uses it.
Having discipline to stay motivated day in and day out to keep pushing forward with your training takes work, hey, I never said it was going to be easy.
After all, why would there be so much content similar to this in magazines, training book’s and on the internet if designing and building a training program was so easy to do and getting motivated and staying motivated took very little work.
I hope that this content finds you well and ready to start molding your future endeavors, plan big and dream big, you hold your future in your hands and you can make it happen.
